About Me
I am a recent graduate of New York Code + Design Academy. I have learned the baseline skills I need to be a full-stack web developer. One of the things that draws me to web development as a whole is it's constantly changing nature. I love to be challenged and kept on my toes. I'm always hungry to learn new things and improve on existing skills.
Web design was a hobby for me at an early age. I spent my summers in middle school writing code and building websites for myself. It wasn't until recently that I realized this childhood hobby could become a career for me.
I spent many years working in the service industry, specialty coffee to be exact. This allowed me to hone my personal communication skills and ability to manage both time and people. I'm looking forward to merging my skill sets and flourishing in a new career.

A rails app built using the Movie DB API. Allows users to populate lists of movies/tv shows they want to see, have seen, and favorites. Hover for preview.
